A striking blue sapphire is at the center of the newest award-winning ring from Omi Privé. The bold color combination of sapphire and Paraíba-type tourmalines is striking, and the addition of black rhodium accentuates the bold colors of the gemstones. A classic three stone design is given a modern reinvention with this stone pairing and rhodium plating. It’s also a prime example of the 2020 Pantone Color of the Year; Classic Blue.
The ring was viewed and voted on by retailers from around the country at the 2020 Centurion Jewelry Show in Phoenix and awarded best “Engagement Ring Modern Design”. President and Head Designer Niveet Nagpal was honored at the annual Centurion Excellence in Design Awards Gala. “When I saw this sapphire, I wanted to compliment its intense blue color with the same color family, yet make a bold statement with the complimentary Paraíba-type side stones. It’s the perfect “Something Blue” for the modern bride!” said Nagpal. “We are honored by the jewelry community’s support of our design and craftsmanship. It’s our relationships and the joy we see on the faces of fans that keeps us motivated to always push to the next level of design.”
The award-winning ring features a 3.90 carat oval sapphire center stone accented by two Paraíba-type tourmalines all surrounded by round sapphires with black rhodium.
