It is sometimes referred to as ‘schiller’ and appears as a billowing luster or glow that seems to originate beneath the surface of the stone. In this earring and pendant suite, the vivid blue adularescence is complimented by halos of Royal blue sapphires. The effect is ethereal; as the blue sheen dances across the surface of the transparent moonstones, the blue sapphires accented with black rhodium add a spectral element reminiscent of a night sky.
